La Paloma, Sierras de Rocha and Punta del Diablo

I arrived in La Paloma on Jun 21st, and started to volunteer in a hostel. On July 22nd I started volunteering in another hostel, in La Paloma as well.

La Paloma is a small city in the Rocha Department of southeastern Uruguay, there are around 4 thousand people living here, but during summer season it increases a lot. So, here is a quiet and nice place to be during low season, just to rest. Of course, if you wanna enjoy the beaches and hot weather, come here on summer, you won't regret it.

The days I've been throwing lately are being awesome, I’m learning Spanish, and also acquiring another skills and experiences of life.

The internet connection where I am right now isn't good, actually I was 3 days off some weeks ago. Even though I’m enjoying every moment, recording and taking shots as I can, and other times just breathing.

I cannot describe in words what I am living here, what I can say is that’s pretty cool, and markable memories I've made until now. I met incredible people around the way.

I’ve been in “Sierras de Rocha" last week, exactly from 9 to 16th, It was in a Basco’s partner sustentable house in Rocha Hills. Those day that I've been there were incredible, it made me remember a lot about my Grandfather’s little farm.

Saturday, 16, I arrived in Punta Del Diablo, and tomorrow I’m going to Chuy just to get 90 more days of VISA in Uruguay.
